Following a public vote held as part of the Web3 Resilience Lab grant program, 10 winning projects have been selected to receive financial support and mentorship.

The program was launched by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Binance, and Lviv IT Cluster together with the Web3 Institute. The initiative’s goal is to support teams developing Web3 and digital solutions for Ukraine’s practical challenges that have the potential to scale.

“We are proud to support Ukrainian teams creating innovative solutions for the country’s real needs. For Binance, it’s important not only to grow the Web3 ecosystem but also to help talented developers and entrepreneurs gain access to resources, expertise, and the international community. I’m confident this program will be an important step for participants toward scaling their projects and turning ambitious ideas into reality,” says Kyrylo Khomiakov, Regional Head of Binance for Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa.

Among the winners are three veteran-led projects: RewardChain, a digital trust platform for verifying professional achievements; GLeX, a modular AI system for the legal sector based on Graph-RAG; and GEN Ukraine Impact, a Web3 platform for verifying community-led environmental initiatives.

In the student team category, support will go to Hartolit, an agtech solution using drones and an NFT-based field passport; ArtIScope, an AI service for selecting the optimal jurisdiction; and NextVibe, a platform for offline networking with verification of real interactions.

In the resilience projects category, the winners are FOMO, an educational and analytical project on crypto assets and digital security; CryptoWay, a free ecosystem of crypto tools; and Solar DePIN, a network for collecting and verifying data from solar power stations.

Lapathoniia, an API platform for Ukrainian large language models, received special recognition from Binance.

“The Web3 Resilience Lab showed that Ukrainian teams — from students to veterans — are ready to offer technological solutions to practical challenges facing Ukraine. We support initiatives that combine innovation with practical benefit for society, and we remain committed to strengthening  Ukraine’s startup ecosystem,” says Mykhailo Lemak, CEO of Lviv IT Cluster.

All 10 projects will go through a 6-month mentorship program, after successful completion of which the teams will be eligible to receive $12,500 in funding. This support format is designed to help teams refine their products, test them in real-world conditions, and prepare for scaling.

According to Yuliia Parkhomenko, Director of the Digital Economy Directorate at the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, “this competition marked an important step in developing Ukraine’s Web3 ecosystem and supporting teams creating digital solutions with social value. For the Ministry of Digital Transformation, this was an opportunity to test the mechanics of public project selection, engage the Ukrainian community in supporting innovative initiatives, and gain practical experience for improving future programs.”

Max Semenchuk, Program Director of the Web3 Institute, expands on this point: “This is the first program of its kind at the intersection of civic tech and Web3 in Ukraine, creating tools for impact verification and building digital trust while supporting students and veterans. Our role at the Web3 Institute is to turn this potential into scalable impact, together with mentors and industry representatives.”

The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Binance, and Lviv IT Cluster, together with the Web3 Institute, have joined forces to launch the Web3 Resilience Lab. This is a new nationwide program designed to accelerate the development of innovations that strengthen the country. The initiative supports early-stage digital ideas and projects with the opportunity to attract funding for their implementation. The program’s total grant fund reaches up to $500,000.

The Web3 Resilience Lab program is for students, veterans, and small and medium-sized entrepreneurs who have an idea or a project at the pre-MVP stage and aim to create practical digital solutions for society or business in the fields of Web3, AI, IoT, Big Data, Cloud, AR/VR, CRM, and other digital domains.

“It is extremely important for us to support Ukrainian innovators who are capable of driving digital transformation. For over 10 years, Lviv IT Cluster has been implementing educational initiatives that help young people find their path in the tech world. Therefore, the launch of the Web3 Resilience Lab is a logical continuation of this work. Through this program, young people will be able to unlock their entrepreneurial potential and acquire or improve business skills, which are critically important for the development of the technological ecosystem. I am grateful to the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Binance for their trust and for inviting us to become part of this project. We look forward to seeing solutions that will make the lives of Ukrainians better and safer, as well as increase business efficiency,” emphasized Sviatoslav Kavetskyi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Lviv IT Cluster.

As part of the project, winning teams will receive up to $25,000 grant to implement their ideas, six months of mentoring support from Ukrainian and international industry experts, the opportunity to refine and test their prototype, prepare for attracting first investments, as well as access to knowledge and resources from key players in the innovation ecosystem.

“Today, Ukraine is moving toward smart technological self-sufficiency. Our goal is to create our own innovations with global export potential, and Web3 is one of the key directions. These technologies strengthen the security of government and business solutions, which is critically important in times of war. The launch of the Digital Resilience Lab provides access to grants and international expertise to build products that will become the foundation of Ukraine’s economic growth,” noted Oleksandr Bornyakov, Acting Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Participants can apply in one of three categories:

Project submissions will be open from April 2, 2026 to May 31, 2026. Winners will be determined by public voting on the Binance platform.

“This initiative demonstrates what true collaboration can achieve. Together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Lviv IT Cluster, we are launching a platform that will directly support innovators developing practical and scalable digital solutions. The Digital Resilience Lab will not only accelerate the development of Web3, but also strengthen Ukraine’s digital resilience through education, mentoring support, and targeted funding,” said Kyrylo Khomiakov, Regional Head of Binance for Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Africa.

The Web3 Resilience Lab will operate in partnership with the Web3 Institute, which will provide research support, expert mentoring, and industry validation for the selected projects.

Digital health service lilo and insurance company VUSO are integrating their products. This partnership transforms how clients interact with their insurance on a practical level, offering a faster, fully digital and seamless experience. Health-insurance clients of VUSO now have access to a digital service that allows them to communicate with doctors and laboratories more quickly, store all medical data in the app, and benefit from a personal physician and regular check-ups.

A fast and simple service experience

Users gain access to lilo’s digital assistance while keeping their existing insurance terms unchanged. Through the app, clients can communicate with their personal physician, book services, and view their health information — medical history, upcoming visits, test results and check-ups — all in real time.

This eliminates the need for calls or chat communication with call-centers, repeated clarification of insurance card numbers, describing symptoms from scratch, or waiting for appointment confirmations. A unified digital ecosystem, where all necessary information and contacts are stored, allows processes to be automated without involving a third party — something typical for traditional assistance services that rely on calls or fragmented communication across different messengers.

A proactive approach to health

One of the core principles of the service is prevention. New clients undergo a check-up right away, and further health monitoring happens regularly based on an individual plan. The idea behind prevention is simple — to stop a disease before it develops.

To support this model, lilo is fully integrated with Dobrobut, Ukraine’s largest private healthcare network.

Beyond convenient digital assistance, every insured employee of a corporate client receives a personal physician who maintains their medical history from day one and develops an individual treatment and diagnostics plan based on their health needs and requests.

“Over more than a year of working with individual (B2C) users, we have improved the product through direct user feedback and clearly saw the demand for a new approach to health insurance. More than 90% of our subscribers have used the check-up service — a sign of growing interest in prevention and proactive care. We continue working with individual subscriptions, and together with VUSO — one of the leaders of the health-insurance market — we are actively entering the corporate segment, which today accounts for 99% of the health-insurance market in Ukraine,” says Samvel Akobyan, founder and CEO of lilo.

According to both companies, the strategic vision of the partnership is to improve the overall experience of using health insurance for all insured employees.

“VUSO applies digitalization to optimize internal processes and enhance the client experience through new services. The partnership between VUSO and lilo is more than just a technological integration — it’s a new model of healthcare protection. The insurer becomes present in a person’s life not only in case of illness, but from the very first day — supporting and preserving their health. This creates a balance between care for people and business efficiency: when investment in employee health naturally translates into team stability and performance,” says Andriy Artiukhov, Chairman of the Management Board at VUSO.

Over the next five to six years, the companies expect to attract 200,000–300,000 new clients.

UKRAINIAN CHOICE has launched in Ukraine — a large-scale national initiative that identifies and honors companies demonstrating integrity, transparency, innovation, and resilience in times of transformation. It offers a new approach to public recognition, grounded in the values of responsible entrepreneurship, local value creation, and trust as a strategic asset in today’s business landscape.

UKRAINIAN CHOICE is more than a ranking or award. It is a reputational initiative spotlighting businesses that go beyond operating in Ukraine — they create and invest here. These companies prioritize people, ideas, and the long-term resilience of the national economy. They build trust through consistent, values-driven actions — in how they treat their teams, partners, customers, and the wider community.

At its core, the project highlights businesses that think strategically, operate with openness, and contribute meaningfully to Ukraine’s sustainable development. Special focus is placed on companies that develop in-house products, services, and technologies with export potential, while growing local teams and investing across critical sectors such as IT, manufacturing, education, logistics, defense, culture, and agriculture. The initiative spans over 50 sectors of the economy.

“In today’s economy, it’s not size that wins — it’s impact. We aim to spotlight the businesses that build trust through their actions, ethics, and vision for the future”, — explains Mykola Soroka Head of the UKRAINIAN CHOICE Organizing Committee.

Citi Ukraine has provided a $900,000 grant to the Unbroken Charitable Foundation, enabling the purchase of a state-of-the-art Arveo 8 GLOW400 microscope.

This high-precision equipment will allow doctors to perform complex neurosurgical procedures, including the removal of dangerous fragments from the brain and spinal cord, as well as the treatment of brain tumors. Over the course of a year, the microscope will facilitate approximately 250 neurosurgical operations. Patients will receive the necessary care at the foundation’s rehabilitation center in Lviv.

Alexander McWhorter, Citi Country Officer for Ukraine, stated: “Supporting healthcare is one of Citi’s key missions in Ukraine. Investing in medical advancements saves lives and shapes the future. We believe that funding the purchase of this microscope is a valuable contribution to the development of neurosurgery during wartime and will create opportunities for successful patient treatment at the Unbroken Rehabilitation Center.”

The Arveo 8 GLOW400 microscope will provide surgeons at the Unbroken Rehabilitation Center with the ability to remove even the tiniest fragments with maximum precision. Its advanced technology enables visualization of the smallest damaging particles, allowing for their removal without causing additional harm to brain and spinal cord tissues.

Oleksandr Kobzarev, Executive Director of the UNBROKEN Charitable Foundation, emphasized: “We are deeply grateful to Citi Ukraine for their generous financial support, as well as to the Meest Foundation for co-financing this initiative. This equipment will save lives and help restore the health of our defenders with severe brain injuries. Thank you for being part of our mission!”

Beyond treating shrapnel wounds, the microscope will be instrumental in surgical interventions for brain tumors. It will enable surgeons to remove even the most complex neoplasms while precisely distinguishing between tumor boundaries and healthy tissue.

Doctors at UNBROKEN highlight the microscope’s significance: “This device is crucial for performing complex surgeries to extract small yet highly dangerous fragments from the brain and spinal cord of our defenders.”

Since February 2022, Citi and the Citi Foundation have donated over $6.5 million to humanitarian initiatives, including reopening schools, providing legal and psychological support for women, and assisting Ukrainian refugees in finding safe havens abroad.
