From the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Lviv IT Cluster team has activated all its resources and efforts to provide maximum support and assistance not only to member companies and the entire IT industry, but also to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, towns and people trapped in the humanitarian crisis. Moreover, we are actively informing the whole world about how the IT industry is working during the war. Continue reading to learn about what our team has accomplished in the past 10 days.

• We opened five centers for more than 700 internally displaced persons. Thousands of people have already used these centers. We have provided these locations with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The flow of people to Lviv is increasing. Our centers can still accommodate people. If necessary, we are ready to increase the number of beds. 
• We transformed our office on Vesniana 4 to the aid collection center of essentials for the army and people in need. During the ten days of the war, we sent several tons of humanitarian aid to Kharkiv, Kyiv, Bucha, Konotop, Okhtyrka and Vinnytsia. These include medicine, food, clothes, essentials. Security and armed forces have also already been provided with important equipment.
• Now our aid collection center is focused on collecting equipment, personal protective equipment and medicine for the military who are fighting in the hottest spots of Ukraine.The first quadcopters and protective wear had already been dispatched to our defenders. We urge you to actively speak out and join the support of the Ukrainian army.

• 230 specialists are fighting on the cybersecurity front every day.
• We created a team of 15 specialists in communication and digital marketing. We are actively fighting on the information front. We fight against fakes and spread the truth in Russia and Belarus.
• We actively cooperate with the international media. Lviv IT Cluster member companies tell the media about the work of the IT industry during the war. We’ve already spoken to representatives of Wall Street Journal, BBC, Sifted, Het Financieele Dagblad. And this is just the beginning, because the interest in the IT industry during the war is high.
• We have launched a campaign aimed at ending any tech-related business in Russia. We also urge your customers not to do business with the occupying country. Because the continuation of any activity in Russia only economically strengthens the aggressor, which contributes to a protracted war.
• Launched the Tax Pay Forward initiative. We urge you to pay the Single Social Contribution and the Single Tax not before April 18 and May 19, respectively, but now. This will help not only the state, but also local authorities, which form the rear for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and territorial defense and take care of humanitarian challenges.
