Meet the first єТЕМА of the 2026 season! As always, SQUAD experts will share their knowledge and insights — but for the first time, offline in Lviv!

This time, we’ll dive into Linux, RTOS, and Bare Metal: where they are used, how to work with them, and which three factors should guide your choice of OS. This topic will be especially relevant for Developers and QA engineers interested in embedded systems, their architecture, and testing specifics.

On the agenda:

• key characteristics and use cases of Linux, RTOS, and Bare Metal
• how many cycles, watts, and dollars each layer of abstraction costs — and whether that abstraction is worth the resources
• RTOS vs. Embedded Linux: how to choose the right one and avoid regrets
• how to test the system you choose
• Q&A session with SQUAD experts — get your questions answered live
