On August 24, at “Expocenter of Ukraine” (VDNG) in Kyiv, the charity “Vyshyvanka Run 2025” will take place — an annual patriotic event dedicated to Independence Day that unites thousands of participants.

The charity “Vyshyvanka Run 2025” will be held on the territory of “Expocenter of Ukraine” (VDNG) in Kyiv — an annual patriotic event that brings together thousands of Ukrainians on the country’s main national holiday. This is already the 12th year when sports, traditions, and unity merge into one rhythm — the rhythm of freedom and strength.

Professional athletes, amateurs, families with children, veterans, volunteers, representatives of business, IT, and creative industries take part in the run. They are all united by the desire to act, support one another, and move forward — no matter what. As tradition dictates, the event has a charitable mission. This year, the organizers and participants of the run will support the TulSun Foundation, which since 2017 has been helping orphans, children with disabilities, and those deprived of parental care.

“There is news the whole country waits for. And there are moments we can create ourselves. And the most important thing — the feeling that you’ve done something important, something good. Because this year we are running for children with autism,” said Ilya Kenigshtein, founder and CEO of Creative States.

This year’s fundraising goal is to provide an interactive panel for 45 students of the Mostyshche Special School for children with autism spectrum disorders and delayed mental development. The equipment will help children learn more effectively, develop fine motor skills, and reduce anxiety.

Each participant will receive a starter package including a T-shirt with a vyshyvanka print, a backpack, a race number and timing chip, a medal, and gifts from partners.

In Kyiv, the race will start from the Urban Park at VDNG. Distances to choose from:
